Earlier this week, we shared ideas for a Champagne themed wedding from Martha Stewart. You can check it out here: http://sagweddings.tumblr.com/post/47626056925/champagne-wedding
We’ve got more Champagne themed goodies for you below. If you want a festive wedding, reminiscent of New Year’s Eve or Old Hollywood, a champagne themed wedding could be the way to go. Champagne themes don’t have to only be champagne colors. Use your imagination! The group of images below can guide you to a sophisticated and fun result.

There are so many reasons why Clair Pettibone is quickly becoming my favorite designer…this is one. - TS

Don’t invite yourself to someone’s wedding just because you see them post about the upcoming ceremony on Facebook. Comments such as “I can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle” are presumptious. “Please send me an invite,” is awkward. Until you receive an invitation in the mail, don’t assume you’re attending and don’t mention attending. It’s Rude. - Tami Post
Google “wedding color trends” and you’ll be hit with any number of Easter inspired pastels. You look at the photographs and read the articles and you fall in love. Then you call your mother. “Mom, my colors are mint green and navy.” There’s silence on the line. “Black girls don’t look good in mint green. What about emerald?” Emerald! Who wants an emerald wedding? You want a mint green wedding with parasols and a floral wreath tied in your hair and oversized balloons and mint green paper straws to drink mint lemonade out of mason jars. But this is your mother, and she’s been right about everything from black tights and white dresses to satin in summer. So you acquiesce and your bridesmaids who range from Porcelain to Obsidian, walk down the aisle in emerald green and hold champagne glasses with satin gloves. This is not your dream and no longer does it have to be. Black girls look good in any color Mamas. Just look below at some of the most recent wedding color trends from lemon yellow to blush and bashful pink to of course, mint green. If these won’t convince your mom that pastels wear wonderfully on any color skin, well, have a glass of Veuve on me. - T.S.

The use of balloons in this rustic wedding is so well done and lovely. Link to more pictures of the wedding through photo.
